Brainspotting Consultation: Deepen Your Skills and Confidence

Whether you’re working toward certification or want to feel more confident using Brainspotting,

I help practitioners integrate Phase I and II skills into real client work.

 About Consultation with Dan

You're learning from someone who's been in the room.

With 18+ years of clinical experience, I've worked through the same challenges you're navigating — learning to trust the process, deepening attunement, and finding confidence in the work. As an Approved Brainspotting Consultant, I bring more than just Brainspotting expertise. My training in Somatic Experiencing and a certificate in Polyvagal Theory from the Polyvagal Institute help me support you in understanding why this work moves people so deeply — and how to stay grounded when it gets hard.

I know what it feels like to sit with uncertainty as a newer practitioner. Consultation with me is a space where you can bring your real questions, your stuck cases, and your honest doubts — without judgment.

I'm not here to evaluate you. I'm here to grow alongside you.

Who is Brainspotting Consultation For?

  • Newer Brainspotting practitioners looking to strengthen foundational skills.

  • Practitioners preparing for certification requirements.

  • Those wanting more confidence in applying techniques with clients.

Note: While we focus primarily on skill integration and Phase I & II mastery, case conceptualization is included to help you bring these tools to life with real clients. Specialty topics are less emphasized here.

This is not clinical supervision—you remain fully responsible for your own clinical decisions.

What You’ll Gain

Brainspotting can feel uncertain — especially in those early sessions when you're not sure if the process is working or where it's headed. Consultation with me goes beyond technique, helping you develop the somatic awareness and grounded presence to trust the process even when it feels ambiguous.

  • Reinforce and deepen your Phase I & II skills with a somatic and body-based lens

  • Develop attunement and presence so you can stay regulated alongside your clients

  • Learn to trust the Brainspotting process — even in moments of uncertainty

  • Build practical strategies for navigating challenging cases with confidence

  • Understand the why behind what you're experiencing in sessions
