Your clinical team deserves training from someone who does this work every day

I offer professional trainings for mental health clinics and organizations looking to deepen their team's understanding of Brainspotting, somatic therapy, and nervous system-based approaches to treatment.

These aren't introductory lectures. They're practical, clinically grounded sessions designed to give your staff tools they can begin applying immediately — with clients who haven't responded fully to traditional talk-based approaches.

Designed specifically for clinic owners and directors investing in their clinical team

These trainings are appropriate for:

  • Mental health clinics and group practices looking to expand their clinical offerings beyond cognitive and talk-based approaches.

  • Organizations serving populations where trauma, compulsive behaviors, or chronic stress are primary presenting concerns — and where staff need practical tools to work at a deeper level.

  • Clinical directors who want their team to understand the neuroscience behind nervous system regulation and how to apply it in session — not just conceptually, but practically.

Why Consider Working With Dan?

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota and a Brainspotting Consultant — one of a small number in the country. That credential means I don't just use Brainspotting in my clinical work — I have advanced expertise in its application and supervise other therapists in the method. I am also completing my training as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and hold a certificate in Polyvagal Theory.

Before returning to clinical work I spent over a decade in the corporate world — including a Fortune 10 company — leading teams and driving professional development. That background shapes how I deliver training. I understand what it takes to translate complex clinical concepts into practical tools that busy professionals can actually use.

I've delivered trainings to clinical teams at small and mid-sized mental health clinics. My approach is direct, grounded in neuroscience, and focused on practical application rather than theoretical overview.

What to Expect

Straightforward. No fluff. Immediately applicable.

Every training is tailored to your team's existing knowledge level and clinical context. I don't deliver one-size-fits-all presentations — I want to know who your clinicians are, what populations they serve, and where the gaps are before I walk in the door.

Participants consistently describe the trainings as accessible without being simplistic — complex neuroscience translated into language and frameworks that make immediate clinical sense.

Trainings are available in-person at your location or virtually. Format, duration, and content are discussed during an initial conversation about your organization's needs.
